This detail illustrates the base plate connection for an endwall column, using bolted base plate clips at the foundation.
The bolted base plate clips (BC-04) form the base of the assembly, anchored to the foundation; refer to the anchor bolt plan for anchor bolt size.
The endwall column sits between the two bolted base plate clips and is bolted through using (4) 1/2" x 1-1/4" A307 bolts with (8) washers, two washers per bolt, sandwiching the column web between the clips.
