This detail illustrates the base plate connection for a combined endwall column/door jamb member, using a single bolted base plate clip at the foundation.
The bolted base plate clip (BC-04) forms the base of the assembly, anchored to the foundation; refer to the anchor bolt plan for anchor bolt size.
The endwall column/door jamb sits against the bolted base plate clip and is fastened through using (4) 1/2" x 1" A307 fin head bolts with (4) washers, one washer per bolt, sandwiching the column/jamb against the clip.
