This detail illustrates the base plate connection for a door jamb, using a bolted base plate clip at the foundation.
The bolted base plate clip (BC-05) forms the base of the assembly, anchored to the foundation; refer to the anchor bolt plan for anchor bolt size.
The door jamb sits against the bolted base plate clip and is fastened through using (2) 1/2" x 1" A307 fin head bolts with (2) washers, one washer per bolt, sandwiching the jamb against the clip.
