This detail illustrates the installation of liner panels where they bypass rigid frame columns on the interior of the building. Liner panels provide a finished interior wall surface.
The liner panels are installed on the inside of the girts, running continuously past the frame column. The panel legs are field cut or trimmed as required to fit around the column flanges.
Jamb trim (HE) is installed at each side of the frame column to cover the panel edges and create a finished transition around the column. Liner panels are secured using member screws at 12" O.C. in liner color.
