This detail illustrates the step-by-step installation of gutter corner trim where the gutter, rake trim, and wall corner trim meet at a building corner. The detail includes a size chart for selecting the correct gutter end cap based on gutter dimensions.
The installation begins with attaching the gutter end cap to the gutter trim using pop rivets. The gutter trim is then installed on the bottom of the roof panel with the back flush against the wall panel. The rake end cap and rake trim closure cap are installed into the rake trim using pop rivets. The rake trim face is field cut/notched by 3" to prevent it from sticking out past the gutter trim upon final assembly.
The rake trim is installed with the rake trim closure cap sliding into the gutter trim. The gutter trim corner cap is then attached to the gutter trim using pop rivets. Finally, the bottom legs of the rake trim are field cut/notched—horizontal leg flush with the gutter trim corner cap, vertical leg flush with the wall corner trim.
