This detail illustrates the installation of eave trim and gutter at a sheeted (paneled) sidewall condition. The assembly shows the transition from roof panels to wall panels at the eave, including the eave strut, closures, and gutter system.
The roof panel is secured to the eave strut and purlins using member screws at 5"/7"/5" O.C. in roof color (see detail Screw_2). Inside closure with continuous 1" tape sealant on top and bottom seals the roof panel ribs at the eave. The eave trim (Q190) is installed at the roof edge and secured with stitch screws in roof color.
The wall panel is secured to the eave strut and girts using member screws at 5"/7"/5" O.C. in wall color (see detail Screw_1). Outside closure seals the top of the wall panel at the eave strut.
The gutter trim (Q760_) is installed 3-1/2" from the roof edge and attached to the roof panel using stitch screws at 5"/7"/5" O.C. in roof color, and to the eave trim using stitch screws at 12" O.C. in trim color. Gutter straps (GS9) support the gutter at 36" O.C. with 5" of tape sealant at each strap location.
