This detail illustrates the connection of wall girts to an endwall column at a corner or intersection where girts from two directions meet at the same column. This configuration is common at building corners where endwall and sidewall girts converge.

The endwall column features welded clips on its flanges that provide the connection points for the wall girts. These clips are shop-welded to the column, eliminating the need for field-installed bolted clips at this location.

The wall girts connect to the welded clips using (4) 1/2" x 1-1/4" A307 bolts with (8) washers—one washer on each side of each bolt. This bolt count is the total for the connection, distributed between the clips as shown.

When installing, position each wall girt against its respective welded clip and insert the bolts through the girt web and clip holes. Ensure girts are level and properly aligned before fully tightening all bolts. This connection allows wall panels to be supported continuously around the building corner while maintaining structural integrity at the column intersection.
