This detail illustrates the installation of an outside corner trim piece where two wall panels meet at an exterior building corner. The drawing shows how the corner trim (OU) wraps around the corner intersection of the wall panels and structural framing.
The corner trim is secured to the wall panels using stitch screws at 20" on center (O.C.), which should be color-matched to the trim. The wall panels themselves are attached to the structural members (girts or columns) using member screws as referenced in detail Screw_1.
During installation, the wall panel legs may need to be field cut or trimmed to ensure proper fit within the corner trim profile. The centerline symbols (℄) indicate the structural framing locations behind each wall panel. When installing, ensure the corner trim fully overlaps both wall panel edges to create a weather-tight seal at the corner. The stitch screws should penetrate through the trim and into the panel ribs for a secure connection that prevents wind uplift and water infiltration.
Note: All trim fasteners will match the trim color.
